Greetings!
I am thrilled to be offering two distinct, yet complementary practices for Women through the end of the year. The Tantric Dance of Feminine Power is profound in its ability to take us outside the realms of technique and mental managing of our internal energy and into the power of felt experience. The Dance opens us to the realm of devotion, presence, and infinite unfolding of the Feminine. If you want to get to know the Goddess within beyond stereotypes or concepts, this is it.
The other series I am offering, Tantric Purification Practices for Women, is very technique oriented. Tried and true lineage practices for cleansing the subtle energies of our bodies and our wombs by practicing specific mantras and feeling their effects within. This is called a nyasa. Directly placing the seed sound of the Goddess Chandi into our bodies for purification and healing.
Both practices come from seemingly opposite ends of the spectrum. But they are not opposite. Each having its own value, yet supporting each other. Which one should you do? Ideally, both! But, if you have to choose. Choose from the heart, not the head. Scroll down and read the language and the descriptions of both classes. One (or, hopefully, both) will "call" to you.Hope to see you!

The
Tantric Dance of Feminine Power is a movement modality that connects us
to the subtle energies of the body. By cultivating deep surrender and
receptivity to the sensations and impulses ever present in the body we
begin to follow these sensations back to their inherent source. That
source is Shakti. The tremoring, alive, wisdom movement of the cosmos
that is both immanent and transcendent. It is through the learning of
continuous opening to Shakti that dissolves deep habitual patterns in
both body and mind while deepening our spiritual practice.
The
practice is not codified, yet very specific guidelines are introduced
to keep the experience inner-referenced rather than externally
referenced. This is a very powerful re-orientation for women today. When we begin to cultivate the ability to "rest" in our experience we are able to feel the power of Shakti within us. But there is more beyond this experience of touching power within. We must learn to receive it. To involute this power back within for our own nourishment, sustenance and healing. It can be quite enlightening to become aware of all the habitual ways in which we "leak" our power once cultivated. When we have awareness of what we are dong with our power, then we have the opportunity for discernment and the exciting possibilities of choice of where we would like to give our energy.
The
TD of Feminine Power also works with our relationship to our own sexual
energy and life force. Releasing the patriarchal lens on our sexuality
is a powerful experience for many women and is crucial to the
transformation towards a life affirming planet. This is not done
through sexual intimacy techniques in this work but through very deep
communion and exploration in how this energy expands, circulates and
expresses itself through the nadis, pathways and central channel of our
body.
There
are many other elements of the Dance including sound work, exploration
of the female shamanic circle, and opening the devotional heart. The
specific mix of women and the energy present dictates the specific
focus for each class.

Ancient and valuable Tantric practices of
purfication. The orientation of purification in thiese traditions is not about morality, but practical energetic applications. It can be
likened to cleansing the inner energetic palate to be able to enter and be absorbed into deeper states of meditation and presence.
We will come together weekly for 5 weeks to have a consistent
practice in two powerful body meditations. First, we will experience
Bhutta Shuddi. This practice is a cleansing of the basic elements in
the body and their corresponding chakras by utilization of each chakras
seed (bija) sound and mudras (hand gesture that creates an energetic
seal in the body). Information will also be given on how to weave this
into a daily practice. Next, we will learn and practice weekly the
Chandi Nyasa. This is a profound practice for women as it deeply
cleanses the obscurations and impressions women can hold deeply in
their wombs. We will apply this practice directly to specific nadi's
(energy channels) in our wombs for deep healing. Common benefits of
this practice, if used consistently, is regulation of the blood and
menstrual flow, release of residues of trauma or abuse, and increased
libido. This practice also helps us develop a real sensitivity to the
subtle energies of our wombs (considered the "seat of the Goddess" in
Tantra). Nita has received direct transmission and permission to impart
these teachings from Parvathi Nanda Nath, a lineage holder in the
Yogini tradition of Kaula Tantra.
Both practices purify the energy body and help to establish a
"ground" in our bodies for any further spiritual work in any modality.
