Tara Puja
Tara is the embodiment of compassion. Her name means "star" as she is the guiding light that leads us from one shore to another. She incarnates into many forms from wrathful (Red Tara) to peaceful and healing (Green & White Tara) Her wrathful forms devour the obstacles leading to liberation while her peaceful forms are a soothing balm sustaining us at all times.
Our evening will include the elemental mudras and mantras (bhutti shuddhi) to cleanse and prepare our subtle body, insightful information on Tara including her Tantric source of the Ten Mahavidyas (10 great wisdom mothers), and a matriarchal sourced puja( worship) for Ma Tara.
