Namaste!  The Sarasvati puja is fast approaching! I hope you can join me in celebrating the Goddess Sarasvati this Friday evening at The Goddess Temple of Orange County. A puja is a ritual or ceremony. These particular pujas stem from a tradition over 5,000 years old and can create powerful reverberations in our lives. While we seem to be outwardly worshipping the diety, the mudras and mantras are actually awakening that specific deity's energetic pathways within
us. It is traditional to bring flowers for the puja as a symbol of your gratitude for Sarasvati. You may also want to bring a cushion to sit upon and/or a small blanket to lay upon for the guided visualization. We will also have some chairs available for those who need to sit upright with back support.

As an added delight, there will be beautiful Sarasvati candles available for purchase created by the Goddess Temple's own Priestess Susan Schultz. The candles will have an image of Sarasvati and Her mantra will be on the back for use in your own personal practice. They will be blessed and "charged" during the puja. The proceeds from these amazing candles will go to the Temple.

Your R.S.V.P. would be greatly appreciated so we know how many to prepare for. nitarubio@belairmail.net or 310-560-6225
Sarasvati Puja
Friday Oct. 17th. 6:30 p.m.
The Goddess Temple of Orange County
$40

Please join me for an evening of worship and puja to Sarasvati, the Goddess of Art, Music and Learning. We will experience the elemental mudras and mantras to fine tune our subtle energies, hear some beautiful information on Her origins as the life giving Sarasvati River which was worshipped as the source of nourishment, creative energy and purity. We will participate in a puja to honor Sarasvati and her creative force within us and move into a spontaneous expression of these energies.
Please R.S.V.P. to reserve your space  by contacting Nita at 310-560-6225 or nitarubio@belairmail.net
