Pick you path and pace! Participants can choose one of five different distances--voted among the most beautiful races in the US. March for a Cure on March 27, 2010!
Join race captain Jan Peine in Houston, TX on March 27, 2010 for the 2010 MD Anderson SCOPE 5k and 1k Fun Run/Walk. Although the race is a fundraiser for colon cancer, Team CFCF will be raising awareness for carcinoid cancer and funds for neuroendocrine tumor (NET) research at MD Anderson. Both colon and carcinoid cancers are treated at MD Anderson in the gastroenterology department and both cancers may be detected through colonoscopies. Click here for details.

Results from the Phase III Clinical trial of Sutent® for Patients with Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors
 Pfizer Inc announced the results of its Phase III Clinical trial for patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. Those treated with Sutent (sunitinib malate) showed a median progression-free survival of 11.4 months compared with 5.5 months in patients in the placebo arm.
