Attention All Carcinoid and NET Patients!
The Caring for Carcinoid Foundation is pleased to announce an opportunity for patients with carcinoid syndrome and related neuroendocrine tumors (NETS) to take part in a national quality of life survey. Conducted by Northwestern University and sponsored by Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, the quality of life study will be submitted for publication in medical journals and will help inform newly diagnosed patients about what to expect from a diagnosis of carcinoid and related NETs. After completing the survey you will have the option of donating your honorarium to carcinoid research and advocacy - Please choose the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation to ensure that 100% of your honorarium goes to cutting-edge research of carcinoid and related NETs. The Caring for Carcinoid Foundation donates 100% of all individual donations to carcinoid and related NET research. This is made possible by the generous support of our Board of Directors and Corporate Sponsors. Please click here to learn more about how Quality of Life will be measured and about this survey. Join Us for a Cure
Congratulations to all Team CFCF's PMC riders on a job well done.
This year, our riders efforts raised over $115,000 (and counting) towards a cure for carcinoid! Thank you everyone for your hard work, and support. Click here to see pictures from this weekend's event. Remember! It is not too late to support our riders. To do so, please visit the PMC's website and make a donation to Team CFCF. Although it is too late to participate this year, it is the perfect time to begin thinking about next year. If you are interested, please email events@caringforcarcinoid.org and reserve August 7 and 8, 2010 in your calendar. This year, our PMC team has appeared in local newspapers and news. Please click here to read more about team CFCF PMC, and click here to watch how one team member is "blending" for a cure.
