Join Us for a Cure
Time is running out and we need your help.  Many of the Team CFCF events such as the Pan Mass Challenge, Swim Across America Boston Harbor Swim and Chicago Marathon will be selling-out soon.  If you or someone you know would like to join Team CFCF in one of the following events, please contact us.

Breezy Point Triathlon: May 31, 2009 (Norfolk, VA)

Join the 12-person strong Blackwood family as they tri for a cure.  You can create your own three-person team or, in the words of many triathletes, "you can compete to complete" on your own.

Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic: July 11-12, 2009 (Seattle, WA)

Join Team CFCF in the largest multi-day bicycle event in the Northwest.  Led by Patrice Rasmussen, member of CFCF's Board of Patient Advisors, Team CFCF will bike through the scenic valleys, forests, and farmlands of western Washington and Oregon.

Swim Across America Boston Harbor Swim: July 17, 2009 (Boston, MA)

Lauren Erb, CFCF's Executive Director, is back for a second year in a 22-mile relay swim across the Boston Harbor.  Join Lauren's relay to cover 22 miles and raise funds for NET research. There is also an opportunity to do a 1/2 mile swim along the Nantasket beachfront. Please e-mail Ben Blackwood if you are interested in learning more.

Pan Mass Challenge: August 2-3, 2009 (Boston, MA)

Join Anne Doyle, CFCF's Vice Chairman, in what has become the most successful Team CFCF fundraising event, combining team camaraderie with a bike ride for a cure.  The Pan Mass Challenge is the nation's most successful bike-a-thon and CFCF's largest annual fundraising event.  Last year, our riders raised over $330,000 for a cure!

Jimmy Fund Walk: September 13, 2009 (Boston, MA)

Since its inception, the Jimmy Fund Walk has raised over $40 million for cancer research.  Join CFCF-funded researchers Ramesh Shivdasani and Matthew Meyerson to raise funds for cutting-edge carcinoid and related NET research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.  You may choose from many different distances for a relaxing, fun day of walking along the historic Boston Marathon Course.

Chicago Marathon: October 11, 2009 (Chicago, IL)

Join Team CFCF as we run to a cure for the third year in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.  This year, CFCF will dedicate the race to Eva Donoghue and Kari Jones for all they have done to build Team CFCF's Chicago Marathon Community.  They have become critical to Team CFCF bringing their friends, family and supporters to run, cheer and have a great time.  Thank you Eva and Kari!

Marine Corps Marathon: October 25, 2009 (Washington, D.C.)

Join Team CFCF in "The People's Marathon" as we run for research.  This scenic course is also known as "The Marathon of the Monuments," and runs through the nation's capital.

Team CFCF Success!
With three events behind us Team CFCF has already raised $40,000 for carcinoid and related neuroendocrine tumor research in the Great Race of Agoura Hills, SCOPE race at MD Anderson, and MTH and CFCFCountry Music Marathon.  We are grateful for the generosity and hard work of all participants and look forward to continued success in upcoming CFCF events!
