Tony Starlight's One Year Anniversary Show
Thanks for another packed house. Those of you lucky enough to have been here saw a Calvalcade of Stars. Performing was Shelly Rudolph, Karen Maria Capo, Maryann Nicholas, Bo and Barbara Ayars, Deanna Maio, Steve Morelli and James M. Gregg from The Bureau of Standards Big Band, Gary Smith and Rick Campbell from the Fedora Four, Doug and Dee from the Midnight Serenaders, LaVonna Zeller-Williams, Ben Macy, Reece Marshburn, Arick Gouwerok and Russell Gores. Not to mention surprise appearences by Tom Jones and Neil Diamond!
I was also presented with a tremendous gift of two statues (pictured in the lower left) from Maryann, Gary & Ruthie. They are spectacular and I can't wait to built a special place to display them.
Charles McCloud became only the third Tony Starlight fan to receive his "Junior Flyer" wings and the Ginger Ale flowed like wine!
We closed the show with an All-Star rendition of the Tony Starlight Theme Song that was more than swell, it was fine!

I'm lucky enough to have Bo Ayars at the piano this weekend. (For those who don't know, he's the guy who conducted and arranged for Liberace for 13 years and has worked for Bob Hope and Bill Cosby. In other words, the guy is good.) He also brings with him his magnificent wife, who just so happens to be my favorite singer, Barbara Ayars. We're gonna have a great deal of fun together. website
