Here's hoping that your summer is progressing in a productive fashion, with some fun mixed in. Things are kinda slow here (fairly normal for July....), so we just wanted to touch base and see if you were all still out there.
We have a couple of standard Cattleya varieties that are coming into sheath for fall bloom. They both produce exceptional flowers, and are reasonably priced. Check them out in the box just below.....

We also want to be sure that, if you are planning on attending the Parkside Summer Orchid Fest (as we are), you know that you may place pre-orders for the show to be delivered at the festival. This will save you shipping and handling dollars (typically about 15%). Orders for the festival must be placed by the end of the day Monday, July 20th. See the details on the festival at the bottom of this newsletter.

To bloom in the fall!
Summer is the slowest season for blooming orchids, but we do have two items in particular that yield showy blooms and are in sheath at this time. No buds forming yet, but these standard Cattleyas typical start the process this time a year with a sheath, indicating that they will be forming buds inside to bloom in the fall.

Once again we thank Tom and John for their invite to participate as a vendor in this premier Northeast region orchid festival. It is aptly named, as the atmosphere is indeed quite festive! We highly recommend checking out the vendors, food, lectures and other fun. John and Tom are great organizers and even better hosts. Remember, you may place pre-orders for the festival with Oak Hill Gardens and have them delivered for pickup under the Big Top (tent)! Forego the shipping and handling costs and save big money.
If you do place a pre-order on-line, just indicate in the comments section that the order is to be delivered to Parkside. Any shipping and handling charges evident on your receipt will be subracted before your credit card is charged.
If you wish to pay for your order at the festival, just select the "Money Order" payment option and send the order through to us. We will settle up at Parkside. We look forward to seeing you there! Place pre-orders before the end of the day Monday, July 20th!
