Pokémon TCG: Call of Legends Prerelease Tournament

Their names are legend: Raikou. Entei. Suicune. Lugia.Call of Legends Deckbox Ho-Oh. Kyogre. Groudon. Rayquaza. Deoxys. Dialga. Palkia. And when Legendary Pokémon come together, only the greatest Trainers can control their might. In the Pokémon TCG: Call of Legends expansion, not only will you discover incredibly powerful Pokémon- including very rare "Shiny" versions of some of them-but you'll also find exciting new Lost Zone effects to expand your gameplay choices. The Legendary Pokémon have gathered-are you ready to answer the call? 

Pokémon TCG: Call of Legends launches on February 9. But you'll have the chance to get a sneak peek at the new expansion starting the weekend! These Prerelease tournaments will give you the opportunity to try out some of the amazing new cards, and receive a cool box to carry your deck (while supplies last).

What are Pokémon TCG: Call of Legends Prerelease tournaments?
Pokémon TCG: Call of Legends Prerelease tournaments are events that allow players to receive and play with cards from the upcoming Call of Legends expansion up to two weeks prior to the official release date of the set!
Participation prizes are awarded to all finishers in each of three age divisions (Junior, Senior, and Masters).

When are the Pokémon TCG: Call of Legends Prerelease tournaments?
 
Pokémon TCG: Call of Legends tournaments are being held from Jan 29 - Feb 6, 2011.

Gnome Games will host 5 tournaments as indicated above. Remember, while we update our events schedule often, we suggest that you visit www.gnomegames.com for the latest information
 
How much does the event cost?
Gnome Games Prerelease Tournaments are $27 (Tax Included).

The admission charge provides you with 6 booster packs of the Pokémon TCG: Call of Legends expansion, which you'll use to build your deck. These cards are yours to keep after you complete the event.

Theme Deck Battle registration is $27 (Tax Included) for this event, and players receive a random theme deck from Call of Legends to play in the event. Players will battle against other players - League Style and earn 1 additional booster per battle played - with a 4 extra booster limit!

What else do I need to know?
 
Bring your Player ID card, if you have one. If you don't have a Player ID, one will be given to you at the event.

Make sure you arrive on time. If you are late for registration, you may not be able to play in the event.  To participate in the event, you must be a player in good standing and abide by the Tournament Rules.

 
What is the tournament structure?
The tournament is run using the Limited Format and Age-Modified Swiss pairings. See the Official Pokémon Tournament Rules for information about the Limited Format and Swiss. The number of Swiss rounds to be run will depend on total attendance at the event.

In addition to the standard Prerelease tournament structure, Gnome Games Pokémon TCG: Call of Legends  events offer the more casual Theme Deck Battles after the main event at the Gnome Games Green Bay stores. 

Theme Deck Battles registration is $27 (Tax Included) for this event, and players receive a random theme deck from Call of Legends to play in the event. Players will battle against other players - League Style and earn 1 additional booster per battle played - with a 4 extra booster limit!

What are the prizes?
All participants will receive a Pokémon TCG: Call of Legends Prerelease promo card and a Call of Legends DECK BOX, while supplies last.
 

All players who complete the event will receive 2 additional Call of Legends booster packs.

All Prereleases count toward your Pokémon Player Rewards credits. Participation in the Pokémon Rewards Program is free of charge.
