As the snow continues to fall we welcome the opportunity to share a few new things with you this week, as well as some great games to share with friends and family during the long cold winter ahead.

We'll start off with some great news that we learned about this week - Gnome Games has reached Level 20 as a Legend of the 5 Rings Stronghold.   We are the first, and only store in the world to reach this level and as such we will get a special tournament for our L5R players as well as a permanent place in the game - with a card in an upcoming set! 

 

Thanks to the great players that support us by playing Legend of the 5 Ring at Gnome Games.  This is the only game where the players influence the storyline and the game, and the players at Gnome Games are the leaders in the world in effecting those changes.  You can play along with them every Thursday evening and Sunday afternoon.  Don't forget to preorder your Harbinger boosters and starters by next Friday for special preorder pricing. 

 

Next week we are also getting ready for the Apocalypse! Whether you are playing the honorable and loyal Space Marines or attempting planetary conquest as the Hive Mother leading a Tyranid assault force the name of the game is total planetary conquest.  The final battles of the Battle Lines Escalation League will be fought on Saturday January 16th at the East Town Mall starting at Noon.  These battles promise to be nothing less than LEGENDARY!  If you'd like to learn more about this great game stop in and watch or visit the Tournament Center any Tuesday evening and we'll get you started!
