Happy Gnome Year from all of us at Gnome Games!  

 

 

Yesterday we welcomed 2010; The Year of Legends. 

 

This year has started off with a fantastic bunch of players heading to the Gnome for a great weekly event that is among the most legendary in the gaming world.  As I write this 48 players are seated for the first of 52 Friday Night Magic Tournaments we'll host at the Gnome Games Tournament Center this year.  This is the Magic of Gnome Games - bringing players together to play either competetively or just for the fun of it.  We'll host Friday Night Magic every Friday night at all Gnome Games stores.  Please check our calendar for times and formats.  This weeks FNM tournaments are Standard Format at 4:00 at the East Town Mall and 6:30 Sharp at the Tournament Center.  

 

This week promises to continue to be the first of many 2010 Legendary weeks filled with the great games we all love to play.  From the Pokemon City Championships to the announcement of the 2010 Golden Gnome Painting contest this week includes both some old favorites and some new opportunities for all the games you love to play.

 

Sunday, January 3rd we'll crown 3 new City Pokemon Champions at the Tournament Center - during the Ashwaubenon City Pokemon Championships.  Bring your 60 card deck, a completed decklist (download one here) and damage counters to the Ridge Road Tournament Center for this Free Tournaments that starts at Noon Sunday Jan. 3rd.  Don't be late or you will get a 1st round loss.

 

Monday January 4th  also brings the first wave of great new games for 2010 - including the release of Heroscape - Dungeons  & Dragons Underdark set.  While this set is available for sale on Monday January 4th, we've got a Sneak Peek for you this weekend! 

 

We'll have a set available at the East Town Mall for you to check out all weekend long!  With 50 Terrain Tiles including the all new Shadow Tiles and Rock Outcroppings this set brings the dark elves into the world of HeroScape along with new rules for some legendary adventures &  heroic battles!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finally, even though the last week of 2009 was a slow week for new releases we did get in a few new items including the latest Magic Deck boxes from Ultra Pro. With a box for each Mana Symbol (Plains, Islands, Swamps, Mountaines & Forests) you'll always know which deck you are bringing to Gnome Games!
