Do all my minis have to be completely painted to play?
No - we ask that you work toward getting them painted so you can play in the January RTT but it is not a requirement for the Battlelines League.
Do I have to use the same army every week?
Yes and No. You must keep the same army that you have registered on the first of December. So if you don;t like the army you started with you can change, however you will lose any campaign benefits / badges you have already earned. You may change your army list for each week as you see fit within the guidelines of the current version of the Codex for your army.
Remember - all minis/models ar played WYSIWYG - what you see is what you get - so if your marines are carrying Sniper Rifles they can not use another weapon even if it is on the Codex useable weapons list. (unless the weekly scenario overrules this rule)

Story Update
It seems that the planet of Flux-el Prime is a sentient entity in and of itself. The planet has been dealing with the intrusions by the armies of the galaxy by moving and re-arranging it's very surface and weather, to what purpose though, is still a mystery.
Psychers from every race have had time to commune with the planet and have learned that it has been in our Galaxy before. The planet appears to roam the universe, looking for other sentient life. The planet finds the strongest race in a galaxy and becomes home to them, leaving when the civilization fails and moving on to a new Galaxy. The psyckers have learned that in order to prove who is the strongest, you must be the first race to reach the "Soul Core" of the planet. A room hidden deep underground. Exploration has been going on, but the location is still a mystery. To further hamper this search, a planet-wide blizzard has been created, burying everything in meters of snow and reducing visibility to zero. It seems this is yet another test from Flux-el as you notice shadows in the haze in front of you, shadows of vehicles.......it's the enemy! TO ARMS!!!! |

COMMANDER PAINTING CONTEST
On Saturday, January 9th, during the games we will have a painting contest for the best painted Commander Figure. You will be able to enter 1 commander miniature. It must be from the army your playing in the campaign (HINT: You will be using this mini to play the game on 1/9. This miniature MUST have been painted BY THE PLAYER ENTERING. There will be 3 skill levels, Beginner, Expert and Master. Gnomish Command Operations reserves the right to move players into the category we feel they belong in. There will be Prizes! So start painting and show us what you've got!
SUPERHEAVY PROXY Don't forget, on the final Saturday during the Appocalypse Battle, we will be having a contest (with prize) for the best Proxied Superheavy during the battle! (This does not need to be a superheavy you can/will use in the battle)
So start building now! We've already had a sneak-peak of a Shadowsword tank that is remote controlled, pretty cool! We can't wait to see what everyone else has been working on!!!
BATTLE REPORTS:
We've been receiving Battle Reports from more and more players! I use them as fluff in these emails and it's a great way to take ownership of the campaign, and show us how your army feels/thinks. Here is your chance to win a cool prize for writing about your battles. The best entries will be submitted to White Dwarf (maybe they'll publish one?) as well as being eligible for a prize!
