See what Brian's been up to in Scotland.

At Ocean River we enter our fall/winter season with a huge shift of products to make sure we have clothing, footwear and all the other gear to help you get out there. Our plan is to keep pace with the seasons better than ever. Remember that there is no such thing as bad weather if you have great clothing and gear.

Our Adventure Centre is keeping pace as well with fall and winter programs already scheduled. Our Pool sessions are a great way to practice those rescues or rolls in order to keep you safe when paddling in the cooler temperatures. Keep getting out there as the best paddling can sometimes be in the cooler seasons.

I wish Peter Erickson the best of luck as he leaves Ocean River after 12 ½ years. Peter is best known as our buyer and key staff person. He is moving to a position with Arcteryx, one of our major suppliers as a sale representative. Justin Dunlop will be filling Peter's shoes and is already up to speed with cross training and 2 years experience as our footwear buyer. Again, Good luck Peter. We will miss you.

Fall Kayaking Programs - We told you summer wasn't over!

The line up for the last courses of the year are filling up fast as we launch our dates for our 2011 tours and courses by November 15th.

Introductory Kayaking Course October 23rd and 24th with Jennaka and Janette only has 3 spots left.
