Isn't it funny how we need to work hard to stay healthy and, to get out there.  It does not happen without effort, thought and some planning.  This next week I will be out of the store taking a week-long Wilderness First Aid course.  After all these years of paddling I will be able to get a certification as an overnight guide!  I'm excited to slip out of old school and into the new by being more involved in ORS's Adventure Centre.

I challenge you to take on new things - if you are a paddler, I encourage you to take a more advanced course or go on a tour.  If you always wanted to kayak, canoe or Stand Up Paddle sign up for one of our programs and get out there. Also, do not miss our Gear Up this year; it will be bigger and better then ever.

Our web site has been undergoing some changes and is really amazing; our new online store offers a ton of stuff to "Get You Out There" and, great information on all of our offerings.  I encourage you to check it out, visit oceanriver.com.  ORS has a new online introductory video too, clicking on my picture to watch.

Cheers and be happy, getting out there,
Brian Henry
