National Treasure Presentation at ORS
 Celebrating Canoes, Canada & the Wonders of the Canadian Canoe Museum

Join Dr. James Raffan, the Executive Director of the museum, for an
entertaining mutli-media presentation on the history of canoes and
paddling in Canada. Merchandise will for for sale on site, and door
prizes as well!

A word from Brian... Watch out for lots of new stuff coming from Ocean River. As we enter into what has, in the past, been a slower time for ORS, we are moving into winter with momentum. Check out our new chair lift - yes, it is about to turn up in front of our store and let everyone know that we take winter seriously. I will be in the mountains and so will our staff, don't worry though, because we will aslo be out in kayaks and canoes over these cooler months. Don't forget that we live in Victoria where we can kayak, hike, ski or snowshoe all in the same day. We are certainly the lucky ones. Don't miss our great presentations through the winter season, starting with the upcoming one this Friday - James Raffin, the Director of The Canadian Canoe Museum talking about our heritage and how it effects all Canadians - don't miss it! See you through the winter - as we are active and working hard to get you out there too. And yes, my beard is gone, as I'm busy growing a moustache for the MOVEMBER fund raiser. Cheers, Brian Henry |
