Two Receive Top Honors at the CUAOk 75th Annual Meeting
The Credit Union Association of Oklahoma recognized two individuals at an awards ceremony, held on May 7 during the 75th Annual Meeting, for their personal contributions to the industry. Well deserved Lifetime Achievement Awards were given to Frank Acord, Central Oklahoma Federal Credit Union, and Marie Bowling, Tinker Federal Credit Union.

Credit Union House Opens Naming Rights Campaign!
The Credit Union House Board of Managers has opened the Naming Rights Campaign for Oklahoma Credit Union House.
Credit unions, vendors and individuals may purchase naming rights to various areas, furnishings and equipment in Credit Union House to show their support of the Oklahoma Credit Union Movement. First to take advantage of the Naming Rights Campaign is Allied Solutions who has pledged $12,000 towards the naming of mezzanine lounge and Southwest Corporate FCU who has pledged $12,000 to the naming of the board room.
"We know that many of our business partners as well as credit unions will step up to take advantage of being a part of this exciting project," said Kelly Diven, chairman of the Board of Managers. "We appreciate Allied and Southwest Corporate coming on board."

CUAOk Offers Webinar on BSA Officer Reports
It all starts at the top! During recent BSA exams, examiners have asked BSA officers for documentation showing their communications with the board. Recent enforcement actions have proven that an effective BSA program begins at the top; board and management training are a critical component in establishing and maintaining a strong program. This webinar covers report frequency and the type of information most needed by the board. The board of directors is ultimately responsible for the development and administration of the BSA compliance program, so it is imperative to keep them informed.

Join NASCUS for a two part Webinar series on need to know regulations for state credit union examiners and credit union staff. The Regulation A-Z series will be split into two June Webinars, one for credit union operations and one for credit union lending, covering both consumer and real estate topics. The Regulations A-Z series will be a great training tool for new employees and a useful refresher for those with experience. Organizations can participate in the topic most useful to them or they can attend both sessions for a reduced price.
Registration for an individual webinar is $149 for NASCUS members, $199 for nonmembers and $79 for Advisory Council members under $10 million in assets. CUAOk to Host Financial Literacy Council Workshop
The Oklahoma CU Financial Literacy Council is committed to improving the financial literacy of all Oklahomans, and helping individuals understand the importance of managing their finances responsibly.
Credit unions interested in promoting financial literacy in their communities need to mark down the July 28 Financial Literacy Workshop on their calendars. Attendees can use information learned at the workshop to introduce financial literacy concepts to high school students, and contribute to the efforts to improve financial literacy statewide.

Compliance Council to Hear from FBI, Discuss Account Fraud and Physical Security Issues The Compliance Council will meet next on Wednesday, June 10, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Stroud Conference Center. The group will discuss Account Fraud/Abuse and Physical Security issues and FBI Special Agent Samuels will speak to the group regarding physical security and robbery prevention and procedures.

Compliance Council members may attend this meeting at no cost, but should register their attendance for lunch/handout count purposes. Biz Kid$ Curriculum Now Available for Download
Lesson plans and activities that complement all three seasons of Biz Kid$ are now available on CD-ROM or online at www.ncuf.coop/home/programs/bizkids/bizkids.aspx. Resources include marketing materials and ready-to-use curriculum in both Spanish and English. The curriculum includes 78 hours of classroom content for students in grades 4-8. All resources are available at no cost to credit unions, teachers and other community educators. New episodes of the third season of Biz Kid$ launched in most media markets in January and are airing in all 50 states and 97 percent of all national markets throughout this year, including Oklahoma.

Montana CU Educator to Share Experience with Biz Kid$ Curriculum Heidi Knudson, business development officer at Altana Federal Credit Union (Billings, MT), will share with peers at the National Youth Involvement Board's 2009 Annual Conference her insight on the curriculum that accompanies the Emmy-nominated "Biz Kid$" financial education television program (www.bizkids.com). Boomer Sooner Chapter to Host 12th Annual Golf Tournament
The 12th annual Boomer Sooner Chapter Golf Tournament, benefiting Credit Unions for Kids, is scheduled for July 27 at the Lincoln Park Golf Course in Oklahoma City. Last year, this event raised over $30,000 to help Oklahoma's kids. We are asking that you help us surpass the $30,000 mark this year.

Special Announcement: The Boomer Sooner Chapter of Credit Unions is pleased to announce that this year's Golf Tournament benefiting Children's Miracle Network has been selected for a unique matching funds grant. Member Enhancement Program Continues to Grow
The "Invest in America" member enhancement program continues to grow! As of the end of May: - 45 leagues participating in the domestic auto program
- 1,710 credit unions have signed up showing their support for the domestic auto program
- 102,061 vehicles sold through April
- 81,648 new credit union auto loans through April
- 21 leagues supporting the Sprint program
- 420 credit unions supporting the Sprint program
- 584,912 unique visitors to LMCU Web site

Southwest Corporate Update
NEW TWO-YEAR CIF CD GUARANTEED BY NCUA Southwest Corporate is offering a two-year Community Investment Fund CD to credit unions that features NCUA-guaranteed principal and monthly fixed-rate dividend payments. Other features include:
· Immediate, no-penalty transfers from a CIF share account to a CIF CD · Fixed rate lock-in at about 3x higher than current CIF share account rate · Additional funds can be deposited at time of conversion from CIF shares to CIF CD to earn the same high rate

TTCU Names Chief Risk Officer
TTCU recently announced the promotion of Stephanie Jones to Chief Risk Officer. Ms. Jones has the primary responsibility for collections, fraud and compliance including the Anti-Money Laundering Program. Ms. Jones joined TTCU in 2002 and started the internal audit and compliance departments. Prior to joining TTCU, she held various positions with the National Credit Union Administration with the last being as the Oklahoma Supervisory Examiner. She received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1987. Ms. Jones is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Credit Unions Help Raise $1.45 Million for Children's Miracle Network
 Representatives from Oklahoma City area credit unions volunteered their time to help with the 2009 Children's Miracle Network telecast held on Sunday. The telecast, which was held at the Presbyterian Health Foundation Conference Center and broadcasted on KOCO, Channel 5, is the event that wraps up the fundraising year for 2008, in which $1,456,501 was raised to benefit Oklahoma's children.
