Shared Branching Update

Shared Branching Specs Insure Quality
CO-OP Shared Branching, in conjunction with other shared branching network, has approved updated to the shared branching specifications that will affect all shared branching transactions.  To ensure members continue to receive the highest quality service when conducting shared branching transactions, all credit union data processors are required to update shared branching formats by June 16, 2009.
The new specifications provide standards so all shared branching participants receive required information to better comply with government regulations such as the Patriot Act-which includes Bank Secrecy Act. Recertification is not expected for individual credit unions; however, credit unions should contact their data processors immediately to begin the implementation process. Please contact the Certification department at certification@co-opngn.net or 866.812.2872 with questions or for more information.
