Tulsa Police Department to Host Robbery Forum

| The Tulsa Police Department is scheduled to host a Robbery Forum tomorrow, Feb. 12, 2009 at the Tulsa Police Academy. The forum will start at 10 a.m.
All Tulsa area financial institutions are invited to participate in the forum, which will include discussions on how we all can better address the recent rise in robberies.

Upcoming Webinar Will Provide
Corporate Stabilization Update The National Credit Union Administration will host a Webcast tomorrow to provide the credit union community with an update on the corporate credit union stabilization program. The Webcast will include a discussion of the NCUSIF reserving methodology as well as exploration of some alternatives presented by corporate system stakeholders. Specific details about the update on the corporate stabilization plan Webcast follow:

Register: Registration for the Webcast opened today. Participants for the NCUA Update on Corporate Stabilization Plan should register online at NCUA's Website, http://www.ncua.gov. Registration is open until 1:45 p.m. EST on Thursday, Feb. 12.
Participants will be able to submit questions throughout the Webcast via the Internet. Instructions will be provided at the beginning of the Webcast. Presenters will address as many of the questions as possible. Speakers will include NCUA Executive Director Dave Marquis, Acting E&I Director John Kutchey, and Loss/Risk Analysis Officer Steve Farrar.

The fabulous Oklahoma History Center will be the site for this year's Oklahoma Credit Union League Governmental Affairs Conference and Legislative Reception. Save-the-Date for Your Monthly Boomer Sooner Meeting
The Boomer Sooner Chapter will host their monthly meeting on Feb. 19 at the Sportsmans Country Club in Oklahoma City. The evening is set to begin with cocktails at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:00 p.m. The presenter for the evening will be Southwest Corporate FCU. This position will oversee all of the OCUL's dues-supported regulatory and compliance initiatives and services, and is responsible for the preparation and management of the budget for this division of Advocacy. Responsibilities also include regulatory advocacy before federal and state regulators, and functions as the lead legislative counsel/analyst during Oklahoma state legislative sessions.
