CU On-The-Ice Night
Come See the Turnpike Rivalry -- OKC Blazers vs. Tulsa Oilers
By now, you have probably wrapped all your presents for family and friends and tucked them neatly under the tree.  However, your League would like to remind you that there is one gift you still need to purchase that simply won't fit under the tree.

For just $10, $15 or even $20, you can purchase a CU On-The-Ice Night game ticket to which proceeds will help hundreds of sick kids in Oklahoma and the very non-profit organization that helps Oklahoma credit unions in their time of need. What do you say, can you really afford not to give this gift?

Details Listed Below
The Oklahoma Credit Union League would like to personally invite you to join us for CU On-The-Ice Night, set for Jan. 10, 2009.  This event, benefiting Children's Miracle Network and the Oklahoma Credit Union Foundation, will take place at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, 100 West Reno Ave.  Game time is 7:10 p.m. Tickets range from $10 to $20.

  • It is a fun, family-friendly event!

Education and Training
A New Year - A New Slate of Subjects
OCUL Wants to Hear Your Training Ideas

The last remaining day in 2008 is slowly ticking away but OCUL is immersed in planning out 2009 to ensure that its credit unions and their members receive the highest caliber of training and educational opportunities in the year ahead.  Sometimes, however, a crucial topic or a paramount subject may slip through the cracks and OCUL's Training and Events department may not be able to dedicate their excellent coverage to these tasks.

That is where our readers come in.  Have you recently seen an engaging speaker captivate an audience in a discussion OCUL has yet to cover?  Are you currently seeking advice on certain operations or services that could assist your credit union, as well as others, with increasing their efficiency and output?  If so, OCUL wants to hear from you.

Please email education@okleague.coop to submit a possible subjects and/or speaker for next year's schedule of events.  Once submitted, OCUL staff  will review the submisstion and let the originator know if their idea is a good fit for OCUL's upcoming educational programs.

Look for updates and additions to the OCUL calendar of events throughout 2009.
