Welcome to Jewish Family Network!
Jewish Family Network (JFN) connects young families raising Jewish children ages 0-5 to each other and the Jewish community. JFS of Metrowest and JCCs of Greater Boston have joined together to engage parents across the region. To find out more about JFS and its services, click JFS. Noah's Ark Day at Lil' Folk Farm 
Sunday, June 10 10-11:30 a.m. For families with children ages 0-5
$15/family before noon on June 7; after June 7, additional $5
Enjoy a morning of animal fun at Lil' Folk Farm. There will be pony rides and a petting zoo where children can pet, brush, and feed an assortment of barnyard animals. Relax in the barn's party room with PJ Library books, snacks, and an animal-related craft.

New Beginnings at JFN
This month, Heidi Anderson ends her role as our South-area Jewish Family Network connector. Heidi joins her predecessors, Julie Rubin, Deb Morandi, and Kim Cohen, as an alumna of a distinguished group of women who have worked spiritedly to build a stronger Jewish community in the Franklin-Holliston-Medway area. We thank Heidi for all her work this year.

Engaging Metrowest Russian Jewish Families in Jewish Community Life
A grant from the Genesis Fund is enabling us to reach out to Russian Jewish families throughout Metrowest. By developing collaborative relationships, we are identifying and connecting with members of this large and vibrant community through engaging programming and activities.
As part of this program, JFN is also doing special "Privet Malish" visits -- Welcome Baby! visits with gift baskets and resources tailored for Russian Jewish families.
If you are interested in learning more about our programs or "Privet Malish," or if you know someone who is, please contact our Russian community connector, Luba Olshan, for more information.

Summer's here, and so are our weekly Playground Meet-ups! Join Jewish Family Network at some of the best playgrounds in the Metrowest area for fresh air, fun, and new friends! A light snack and water will be provided for the kids.

Central Area Playtime Meet-Ups (Contact: Nissa) Tuesday mornings, June 5 and 12 9:30-11:30 a.m. Free! Please join Nissa for this weekly drop-in playgroup. Perfect for kids up to 4 years, and for moms, dads, and caregivers of all ages! A light snack will be provided for the kids. Please note that Tuesday-morning Playtime Meet-ups will start up again in the fall. For the summer, we will meet on Friday mornings at the playgrounds listed in the section above. With a little bit of Hebrew and a whole lot of fun, Nissa will lead singalongs and playtime in a warm, inviting setting. This group meets after school and is great for kids of all ages, including older siblings.

Late-Afternoon Playgroup at Reardon Park (Contact: Julie) Mondays, June 11 and 25 3:30-5 p.m. Free! JFN volunteer Jen Lerman is moving her late-afternoon playgroup outside for the summer! For anyone whose kids need a little late-afternoon activity, please join Jen and JFN at Reardon Park in Framingham, a safe and quiet playground ideal for our youngest kids and lots of fun for our older ones, too. A perfect chance for you to meet other parents and for kids to enjoy new friends and fresh air! For those of you who can't make our morning meet-ups on Fridays, we hope to see you here!

Tzofim Friendship Caravan

The Friendship Caravan -- 10 Tzofim (Israel Scouts) entering their senior year in high school -- travel throughout North America each summer, sharing their lives in Israel through song, dance, and story. Tzofim Friendship Caravan generally performs for nearly 100,000 people across the U.S. and Canada each year. Here's your opportunity for you and your kids to be among them! 29 Upper Joclyn Ave., Framingham If evenings are better for you and your family, the Tzofim Friendship Caravan will be performing the night before as well, Wednesday, June 6, at 7 p.m. Tickets for the evening show are $5/person or $15 max/family.
