Change seems to be a constant that we can count on at Watchmen Arise International's offices! The Lord is continually moving us forward to possess the land we are placed in through intercession and prayer activism. New faces are added to the prayer army almost daily as the Lord connects us with other prayer warriors who carry the call to stand on the wall for their cities and regions, too.
Life sometimes throws us curveballs. I must admit that our transition to our office move to Largo, Florida was one of those for me. God took some interesting circumstances in my life, shifted me into a new (yet familiar) territory, caused me to let go of some old assignments and habits, and set me up with new assignments and alignments for the season ahead. Through this change the direct territory that I "tread out" via my car on a regular basis has expanded from two counties to three as I commute between our Largo office and my home in Lakeland. Many times the words of my friend Becca Greenwood echo in my ears: "Are you ready? Then buckle your seatbelts (click, click) and let's go!"
My perspective has been from Lakeland for so long. Our new location has caused me to see things from a Gulf Coast of Florida view. The Lord impressed me to establish a beach head in Largo when I was contemplating if we should establish the ministry here. Our office is about two miles from the Gulf of Mexico at the gateway to the bridge to Indian Rocks Beach. It seems kind of prophetic to me as we venture into land redemption assignments this year.
We must be prepared to watch and pray over the place the Lord has planted us. We must be willing to quickly pick up the mantles He is throwing our way. With that, let me share some of the "new" assignments I have picked up for this year:
Florida Apostolic Prayer Network - 10KFL
 A new alignment that has taken place is working along side Martha Lucia of the Watchmen Network in her role as state leader for both Mike and Cindy Jacob's US Reformation Prayer Network (RPN) and John Benefiel's Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network (HAPN). This birthed the Florida Apostolic Prayer Network as a vehicle to unite Florida's prayer army through a single website. This website exists as a tool for various prayer networks and pray-ers in the state to use that will house state prayer initiatives and information to equip you for assignments. Many of you have received emails to join 10KFL - 10,000 Intercessors in Florida from me. Chuck Pierce released a word at the RPN/HAPN conference to the state leaders last December to raise up 10,000 intercessors per state. 10KFL is Florida's portion of this assignment. We will be working on several national prayer initiatives this year in collaboration with RPN and HAPN, including praying at the Civil War sites as this is the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War, praying to tear down strongholds of the sons of Ishmael, and sending teams to Tallahassee to see abortion overturned in Florida...and these are just our assignments in our state! I will also be linking with other state leaders on several national gatherings as well. More to come on that later...
