Night Watches in July

We will be watching in a new way during the months of July and August. We want to encourage each of you to watch at 6:00 AM. This is when the morning breaks open, we leave the night watch, and enter the day. This is when God "blinks" on the earth and we catch the first glimpse of what we have prayed through the night.
Psalms 11:4 speaks of the eyelids of God. "The Lord is in His holy temple. The Lord's throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men". We are scrutinized very closely by the Lord - His eye is upon us. It is as though He contracts His eyelids in order to examine the deeds of His creatures upon earth. In Hebraic thought the remoteness of the Divine dwelling-place in heaven was never held to be incompatible with God's detailed knowledge of what happens in the world. He is sometimes said to 'come down' and look upon the actions of men.

| Florida's Call to Statewide Prayer

Beginning Monday, July 5th, with one voice believers will be standing between the porch and the altar 24/7 before God on behalf of the issues affecting our state. Will you respond as He searches to and fro upon the earth looking for ones to intercede with faith? "How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore." ~ Psalm 133
We are facing a dire situation as the worst natural disaster to ever affect our nation continues to destroy the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Animals are injured and dying, local businesses suffer and families are without income as we daily watch a spill no man has been able to stop impact every area of our lives. Many Floridians are getting physically sick with what doctors are calling "Gulf Oil Sickness" because of the chemicals released into the atmosphere from the spill.
This is happening at a time when we have not yet recovered from the housing crisis and are bearing an unemployment rate of 11.7%. Statistics show that Miami has a greater number of abortion clinics than any other city in the nation. Of the top 10 counties in our nation that the divorced call home, 3 of them are in Florida. Daytona Beach is the destination of most runaway youth and the number of those captured for the human trafficking industry has markedly risen in our state.
Many are sensing an urgency for the Bride of Christ to unite in prayer. Well-known and respected prophets across our nation are delivering words that point to the judgment of God revealed in the Gulf Oil Crisis. I have heard the Lord say to me repeatedly, "I will lessen the blow - the blow of the judgment can be lessened with true repentance."
