This is a month celebrates two
diverse festivals Shraddha, which is remembering the Forefathers and then Navaratri.
Saturn's ingress into Virgo is the important planetary transit of the month. I have written a special article on how to do remedies for Saturn.

A fortnight for remembering the Pitris or our
forefathers from 5 to 18 September is known as Shraddha. 18
September is the dark night known as Amavasya and is most important to remember
the dead by donating money, giving feasts
to the poor and clothes, medicine in your ancestors names. During
Shraddha, people in north India do not start any new projects or get
married. In Bollywood, no new Movies are released during Shraddha, Then
from 19 September we begin the joyous celebration of the nine days of the goddesses known as
Navaratri and the 10th day (28 September) which is victory day for
