I am doing this one off special newsletter to indicate how planets are behaving in 2008. I am unable to update my website and till i solve the problems- you can read below.

| Jupiter shines |
Jupiter spends most of the year in Sagittarius, which is great news for Pisces and Sagittarius lagnas who enjoy a special 2008. Jupiter will move into Capricorn on 9 Dec 2008 and will be debilitated for most of 2009. Therefore Pisces and Sagittarius can plan in such a way that they do most of their expansive projects this year, enjoy the delights that Jupiter has to offer fully as 2009 will be a year to remain fallow.
Jupiter in Sagittarius will promote good knowledge, positive interaction with people and development of a healthy approach to religion. Religion and spirituality will play an important part in the next year but in a positive way. Most lagnas will benefit from this transit.
The most important contribution of Jupiter this year is that it will aspect Saturn in Leo and keep its extreme energy in control. .

Pic- Saturn Shrine in Chandigarh.Saturn remains in Leo throughout the year it will first retrograde back from 14º26 to 7º42 Leo and then goes forward to 27º46 Leo where it retrogrades again on 31 Dec 2008. Planets or lagna in the natal chart that are placed from 7º42 to 27º46 Leo are most effected by Saturn.
Saturn's transit is always tough except for those in Sade Sati- its impact is limited to the week or so it transits over the planets or lagna but this short period can change the way your future unfolds. If you are worried about these transits- it is always good to do remedial measures for Saturn like fasting, voluntary work, donation and feeding the poor. It is best to be prepared for the transit as if you are experiencing it- there will be an influence - we cannot avoid the effect totally but by being aware we can lessen its power.
On the world level - Saturn can bring change for those in power. Also Saturn represents the Air element and it is transiting in a fire sign- the air can either make the fire go out of control or completely put out the fire. In my experience I have found that during its transit in fire signs- Saturn can make situations go out of control if people are not cautious. As soon as Saturn moved into Leo it made the sub-prime mortgage issue go out of control. Saturn had created the inflation of house prices during its transit in Cancer but it caught out the unwary and the incautious the moment it went into Leo. The sub prime is burning many a financial institution and individuals too. Over the coming months caution is the key work and not allow the ambitions and ideas to go out of control. Saturn will also be making life tough for people in power- we may see many of the old guard losing power. Already this has began and more is to follow.
The world is at risk from forest fires. California and other vulnerable areas should shore up their fire defenses. .

Vulnerable degrees of 2007 and 2008 - 10º00 to 12º00 Leo |
| The Saturn Ketu conjunction of October 2007 and the Saturn Mars conjunction of 2008 are both near the same degree of Leo. In 2007 the Saturn Ketu conjunction was at 10º44 Leo and in 2008, it is at 11º25 Leo is facing the conjunction of Saturn Mars. If you have the Moon, Sun, or Lagna near these degrees, you have been going through a difficult time and this time has still some more to run. Other planets in these degrees are also facing this transit but the Lagna, Sun and Moon are the most vulnerable. The important thing to remember is that you already know the issues as the earlier transit would have brought them out. You do need to be philosophical, patient and accept that you cannot hurry time. Saturn will bring positive change for those who heed his message. This is a good time to be doing the Saturn remedial measures as well. Soon after the 10 July 2008, you will start to see the lessening of Saturn influence and pressures.
