Greetings!
Komilla Academy of Vedic Studies got established on 28 January 2007 with a grand puja at Nataraja Temple, Chidambaram. I have been teaching for many years, it was this year with my lagna lord Jupiter transiting the 9th house and forming a karma Dharma Adhipati yoga with 9th lord Mars in Sagittarius, that the Academy got formalized. Twelve students were awarded their certificates for completing the four year course.
The main focus of the Academy is to bring the different stands of Vedic Knowledge together and teach them in a four year special programme. The academy will follow the Guru Parampara, where the teacher teaches directly to the student. The students will study Jyotish (Vedic Astrology) Yoga, Sanskrit, Vedas and philosophy. Vedic Astrology will be taught by Komilla, other teachers of Yoga, Sanskrit, Vedas and specialist Vedic Astrologers will form part of the faculty. ( The website is under construction
The first course will combine Vedic Astrology and Yoga in Chandigarh and then we will move to Rishikesh to study philosophy of Mandukya Upanishad on the search of Moksha.

Foundations of Vedic Astrology and Yoga Training with Komilla and Shiv Kumar

The Foundation Course aims to train Counselors and teachers of Vedic Astrology. This is an intensive study that will lay the foundations for Vedic Astrology. Komilla will give personal attention to each student. Comprehensive notes will accompany the course. Yoga will be taught each morning and evening. Shiv Kumar is one of the modern day masters of Yoga. He has been Komilla's Yoga guru for many years and has an international reputation.
