Greetings!
Jupiter is finally in Scorpio but there still remains
uncertainty as Saturn travels through the gandanta
degrees. Mercury is retrograde, so do watch out.
Virgo Moon are going into Sade Sati.
There is a busy schedule ahead for me. I am in USA
all November. The Vedic Astrology weekend in
Pleasanton is almost full. There is another California
weekend in March on Past Lives and Rahu Ketu. Rules

November - a Lack of balance |
 |
November begins with Saturn in its gandanta degree
and it remains for the next three months in Gandanta,
Mercury is Retrograde and many planets are in Libra.
Usually Libra brings balance in our life but with as
many as five planets residing in Libra at times in
November, it will be promoting a lack of it instead.
With the major changes
that have already taken place in October, it will be
some time before we regain our sense of equilibrium.
Flow with the changes and you will feel a lot better
for it. Leo is the area of weakness and Virgo Moon
are beginning their Sade Sati and Gemini Moon are
ending their's........

Pushkara Navamsha - part two |
 |
Last month we studied the myth of Pushkara and how
he got the ability to cleanse the sins and Jupiter's
connection to Pushkara. As we are about to
celebrate the auspicious Kartik Purnima on 5
November 2006, the special day when the gods
come down to earth, we should also understand that
Pushkara navamsha and bhaga are those degrees
in our natal charts where the Gods reside all
the time. To receive their blessing we
must become spiritually aware and look to the higher
selves. We must want the gods to heal what is
placed there. Pushkara navamshas have the ability to
heal the planets and improve their quality regardless
of their natural quality. Read the article to see if you
have your lagna or planets placed in the Pushkara
and how to use these navamshas and bhagas.

This is the next step to the Foundation course, so

Relationships Part Two of Twelve- Kuta Compatibility Intro and Varna |
 |
I have decide to extend this into twelve lessons in
Relationships. They will be continuous. This month is
the introduction to Kuta compatibility. The Kuta
system of compatibility is used to match
two horoscopes to find the compatibility. It has a
complicated set of rules that matches the
charts on sexual, spiritual and emotional level. There
are twelve points of compatibility.
It is important to remember that we should not get
too enamoured by high scores of compatibility. It is
possible for us to have happy and fulfilled
relationships even though the overall compatibility is
low. Often less Kutas means two souls that have
many issues to deal with in this life whereas high
kutas indicates less issues and a too idealistic an
expectation from their
perfect partners. I have noticed in my
consultations that it is more likely for high
compatibility relationships to break up whereas the
lower score ones continue working on their karma
together..........Next month will be on the rules of
Attraction

5 November 2006- Kartik Purnima- the day the Gods come down to earth |
|
The Full Moon on 5 November 2006 in the month of
Kartika month (an exalted Full moon in Krittika
Nakshatra) is one of the most important festivals for
Shiva. This is the day Shiva is supposed to have
killed Tripura, the three demons and destroyed their
evil abodes with one arrow.
It is also the day annually when all the gods come
down to
earth and celebrated the Dev Diwali, the diwali for
the gods. In my article on Pushkara last month and in
this newsletter, I said of the special day to bathe in
spiritual waters. Nov 5 this year is such a day, when
all the
gods will be present and devotees who bathe in the
holy
waters of Ganges and other sacred rivers can cleanse
themselves of all sins. Pushkar in Rajasthan is one
such special place where thousands dip in its spiritual
lake. Wherever we are in the world, we can also
bathe our minds and cleanse our inner selves on 5
November and let go of the negativity...............
