Venus and the Sun.The picture on the right is
taken
at the Ketu temple in Tamil Nadu. The tree has

Mars Ketu conjunction on at 3.37GMT on 2nd
September in 2º7’ Virgo, Uttara Phalguni nakshatra
begins September and starts two months of difficult
planetary aspects. There is going to eclipses,
debilitation, exaltations and the strong influence
exercised by Ketu. Many planets are changing signs

Gandanta, the Spiritual Knot |
 |
Gand means a knot. Anta means the
end. Gandanta means the knot at the end. A well-
tied knot is that it is very difficult to unravel. The
more you try to untie the knot, the tighter it
becomes. Gandanta represents a knot within
ourselves, a deep issue, which we are trying to
reconcile with. When planets are placed in these
positions, then they face uncertainty as they try to
unravel the secret knot that will take them on to the
next level. These issues make themselves felt in the
life of the individual, through personal relationships,
traumatic events or inner struggles. When life
crystallises at a certain we have to go through a
particularly trying time to prepare our minds for the
next step in the journey of our soul. This can only
take place once you have reconciled with where you
are at present....

Navaratri, the Nine Nights of the Goddesses |
|
Navaratri is a very special time of honouring the
Divine
Mother. Navaratri means nine nights. Navaratri
happens in Spring and in Autumn of every year. It
begins on a New Moon in the month of Ashwini and
Chaitra. Both sets of nine days are also connected to
Lord Rama. The chaitra shula navaratri is known as
Ram navami. I will be writing about that in the March
next year. Navaratri is also an important time to
propitiate Rahu and fight the inner demons to
progress on the path of moksha....
