 | GMC at Geraldson Community Farm |
General Motors Corporation GMC filmed an inspiring video about growing local and creating community at Geraldson Community Farm. Unfortunately, no trucks were donated in the process of filming. They did pay a nominal fee for use of the farm, but we are still looking for a vehicle, as the farm truck is on its last wheels. See the video and be inspired!

 | Training Opportunities for Beginning Farmers |
The Florida West coast RC&D has received funding for 5 "traditionally underserved" producers to attend the 21st annual Practical Tools and Solutions for Sustaining Family Farms conference in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2012. Reply to this e-mail for more information on the scholarships - which include travel and lodging.
We have scholarship applications available for the 2012 Beginning Farmer and Rancher Conference in February 18-20 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Beginning Farmers and Ranchers Conference provides an opportunity for farmers to meet and learn from experts and to network with other farmers from around the country. Contact Jacob Leech to get an application.
