Greetings!

July has been a whirlwind with two trade shows back to back. First we were at the Craft & Hobby Show in Chicago and the next day whisked off to the National Gift Basket Convention in San Jose. It was wonderful to meet some of you and do a little one-on-one consultation. If there are shows you attend that you think we should consider, please let us know!
The NEW MEMBER FORUM is up and running

We've had the Member Forum going for some time now and it continues to cause people problems when trying to remember the username and password to gain access. So ... we have created a NEW MEMBER FORUM that will be much easier to enter. Almost all of the information from the old forum has been transferred so you won't lose any of the resources you've depended on.

The forum will continue to be private so you can ask questions within the group that you may not want prospects, customers or vendors to view. In our inquiries you've told us this is important to you.

Member Forum Structure

The Member Forum is now a Group under LinkedIn. It is further broken down into 4 Subgroups as the above illustration shows.

Here's how to enter in for the first time:

1. If you are not already involved with LinkedIn, SIGN UP. It's free. If you have any questions about what LinkedIn is CLICK HERE.

2. Under Groups - Group Directory - Search for the "Ribbon Print Member Forum" - Ask to Join. We will verify that you are a customer and approve your request. An email will be sent to you confirming your acceptance.

3. If you are an established LinkedIn user with a number of contacts, you will automatically be able to enter into the Subgroups. If you are new to LinkedIn, they require that you request entrance into each Subgroup. Obviously we will approve you for each one.

4. After you've been approved the first time, you will always have access to the groups. All you do is open your LinkedIn account and access your groups.

MUCH EASIER - WE'LL SEE YOU THERE!

Design & Print Software Learning

Did you know you can Nudge?

To make editing text and graphics easier, your software includes a nudging feature. If you don't know what that is, try it and you'll see how helpful this can be when you are working; particularly with small design elements.

Go onto the Design Board in the program and input a text line or image. Now select it and use your keyboard arrows to move it around.

Only the Arrows = Medium Nudge

Shift Button + Arrows = Small Nudge

Control Button + Arrows = Tiny Nudge

Now you can edit even the smallest designs with ease!

Please let us know if there are specific topics you'd like to see covered. This is your space to ask, learn, and share.

Happy Printing!
