Greetings!
DadsToday, as we honor and commemorate our fathers and forefathers, the LA Progressive sends Happy Father's Day wishes to all of our readers who are fathers.

Both of us are fortunate to have fathers who are still with us. Sharon's dad Marty recently moved to Southern California. Dick's dad David lives in Florida.

We marvel at how savvy our fathers are  with new technologies. At 93 years of age, David is a frequent reader of several online publications and just started following us on Twitter! Sharon's dad, Marty, can build a PC from spare parts and is waaaaay into PhotoShop.

We wish our dads HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!! and thank them for all of the sacrifices they made to raise us.

The Three Essentials of Financial Reform. Bottom line: Genuine financial reform will be almost as difficult to achieve as real universal health care. Immense private interests are amassed against the public interest in both cases because staggering amounts of money are at stake. -Robert Reich

Friday Feedback: Crony, the Corporate Clown
Reader Feedbacl
Every Friday the LA Progressive features a comment that was particularly noteworthy. This week we are featuring a comment submitted by Wayne,  commenting on Carol V. Hamilton's "Right Wing Sedition."Here's Wayne's comment:

The real sedition is coming from within the Democratic Party, which is now rapidly becoming the party of Crony the Corporate Clown show. They have bailed on the Republicans for their massive failures and started funneling their corporate cash from their need for greed efforts of the past 20 years to the Demo's who just can't seem to get enough. The Fox Fake news and other media horns for the Republicans are the diversion to keep our eyes and anger away from the Blue Dogs who are giving away the store and continuing the downfall of our nation!
