Immigration Resource Named Finalist for Book of the Year Award
ForeWord Reviews Announces 2011 Finalists 
Valley Forge, PA - April 18, 2012 - The bilingual book Listen to the Children: Conversations with Immigrant Families / Escuchemos a los niños: Conversaciones con familias inmigrantes by Elizabeth Conde-Frazier has been named a finalist for ForeWord Reviews' 2011 Book of the Year Awards in the Family & Relationships category. Representing more than 700 publishers, the finalists were selected from 1200 entries in 60 genre categories.
Listen to the Children has been praised by national Hispanic Christian leaders, academics, authors, and social activists involved with the issue of immigration. The book has been applauded for its unique approach to bringing the human realities of immigration to life through fictional conversations between immigrant children and their parents and caregivers. ForeWord Reviews' Book of the Year Awards
ForeWord Reviews' Book of the Year Awards program was established to help publishers shine an additional spotlight on their best titles and to draw librarians' and booksellers' attention to the literary and graphic achievements of independent publishers and their authors. Award winners are chosen by librarians and booksellers-the people on the front lines of the book industry. Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners, as well as Editor's Choice Prizes for Fiction and Nonfiction, will be announced at a special forum at the American Library Association Annual Conference in June.
