Infrared Thermography for Testing VRLA Batteries
Infrared Thermography, used in conjunction with traditional preventive maintenance testing and inspection services, provides an extremely effective program to identify and diagnose numerous battery problems. Infrared inspections can quickly identify problems with wiring, terminal connections, and inter- cell connections. In many instances, the condition of the cells can also be determined during load testing by observing deviations in cell temperatures as the batteries discharge.
