Manufacturers will be able to apply for low-interest loans, which will help broaden the state manufacturing base by creating jobs and reinforcing California as a leader in clean energy systems. Voices of Sacramento: Efficiency First's National Study
|
|
Efficiency First is a national nonprofit trade association that unites Home Performance contractors, building product manufacturers and related businesses and organizations in the escalating fight against global warming and rising energy costs. Efficiency First represents its
members in public policy discussions at the state and national levels
in order to shape the future of the Home Performance industry. Currently, the Sacramento chapter is in the process of being launched.
Efficiency First is working on a national study to define the workforce needs of the home performance industry. To ensure that the Sacramento-area contractors' views are heard in this report, please complete the Efficiency First Workforce Survey. The survey will be open until April 26th. It should take no longer than 10 minutes and all responses will be kept confidential. The full workforce report will be released next month.
For more information about the Sacramento Efficiency First chapter, contact Elizabeth Redman via email.
