| Sacramento region draws major funds from CEC |

| #1 for the Municipal Financing Program: This $16.5 Million grant will launch the AB 811 programs in Sacramento and Yolo Counties (and the 12 other counties that are part of the pilot for CalifonriaFIRST). This program will provide access to property tax based financing for implementing energy retrofit measures in existing buildings. Valley Vision, through the Green Capital Alliance, has been facilitating the regional working group of jurisdictions from Sacramento and Yolo County that will be participating in the program.
#1 for the Residential Retrofit Program: SMUD garnered $19.9 Million to roll out a comprehensive strategy for making homes more energy efficient that will raise the bar across the state and nation. GCA will leverage SMUD's partnership to conduct marketing and customer education about the AB 811 financing option as one of several energy efficiency incentives and rebates available to consumers throughout the region. |
Celebrating 40 Years: Sacramento Metro Chamber's Cap to Cap

 2010 marks the 40th year for the Metro Chamber's annual Cap to Cap trip. This event brings several hundred of the region's business, labor and government leaders together to build consensus for important regional priorities. The Clean/Green Technology Team is currently meeting to plan for lobbying appointments and develop issue papers. Do you have ideas to help shape this year's agenda? Cocktails for a Good Cause

Sacramento Green Drinks is a monthly networking event that provides a casual atmosphere to hang out with people that share interests and passions for the environment, sustainability, and all things green. Green Drinks is active in almost 600 cities across the country.
Green Drinks events occur on the first Thursday of the month at rotating locations throughout the area.
