| Rising Star: MARQUISS WIND POWER |

Marquiss Wind Power, founded in 2006 and based locally in Folsom, California, develops and markets small urban wind technology unique in the field. At the Clean Energy Showcase, Paul Misso, CEO of Marquiss Wind Power opened the "Rising Stars" presentations. Mr. Misso also shared the exciting news that the company was installing their first product for revenue the same day. The company's success lies with the three different versions of the Marquiss Aeropoint wind turbine, developed from founder Stanley Marquiss's thirty years of background with the technology. The patented ducted wind turbine is able to "orient itself" to the wind to harness increased velocity winds on rooftops in urban areas. The turbines, for use on rooftops of commercial and industrial businesses, are installed where the power is consumed and attached directly to the grid, replacing utility power. Marquiss Wind Power is confident that their wind power generation solution provides customers with a sound return on investment in a short period of time.

| Rising Star: Cooling Corp |
UC Davis Engineering PhD candidate Siva Gunda has joined forces with Chris Soderquist of Golden Capital Venture Fuds and Meg Arnold, busines consultant and former UC Davis emloyee, to launch Cooling Corp, clean energy start-up that aims to retrofit existing air conditioning units to make them more efficient. WicKool Technologies, developed at the University of California Western Cooling Efficiency Center by Dick Bourne, capture the condensation from air conditioners and use it to cool the units. This seemingly simple retrofit results in the unit using less energy to cool a space. Currently, Cooling Corp is in a testing phase for rooftop AC retrofits with both Wal Mart in Dixon and Target in West Sacramento. These businesses will also be Cooling Corp's first customers after the testing phase. Cooling Corp aims to have their techologies enter the market by the beginning of January 2009. When they enter the market, each retrofit should pay for itself in resulting energy savings in only about one and a half to two years. Siva Gunda presented as a "Rising Star" at the Energy Showcase where the company was awarded the prize for "People's Choice." The company was also highlighted in the Sacramento Business Journal on October 8, 2008.
