Precious Update
Many of you continue to ask about the progress of our dog Precious, a 6-pound Pomeranian, after she was viciously attacked by another dog. It's been a difficult few months for Precious, who we rescued after she had spent 6 years in a filthy puppy mill. After surgery, numerous vet visits, and a lot of TLC from us, she continues to improve. She has a slight limp, but she is lucky to be alive. The vets had never seen a front leg dislocated so badly. She wouldn't have survived if Kevin hadn't let the 60-pound dog bite his hand to save Precious. It took a while for Kevin's hand to heal, but it was worth it. We want to thank the Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County and Allen Veterinary Hospital for their assistance. We appreciate everyone's concern and encouragement during this difficult time.
