Happy Mother's Day!
It's also the opening of fishing season so why not bring Mom fishing?
The piers are in, grounds are raked, spring cleaning is complete; we are just about ready for some fun in the sun!

Our weather has finally turned to spring! It's a beautiful 60 degree day with sunshine and is supposed to stay warm with daily temps in the 60's. Just an interesting note - we registered over 90" of snow this past winter which is 24" above average.
We are looking forward to again hosting the
Party with the Pack for the annual Angel on My Shoulder Golf Spectacular. Welcome to Gilbert Brown, William Henderson, and Doug Evans as they donate their time to support this wonderful cancer support organization. The party will be Thursday, June 9 at the Bear's Den here at Black Bear Lodge. A $50 donation will get you a delicious steak dinner, access to these Packer Greats with autograph opportunities and a private auction of Packer memorabilia.
Speaking of golf - our new event for June: Lake & Links golf and fishing tournament is being greeted with enthusiasm. We are receiving some great comments about combining two favorite sports into one tournament. Register today to win cash and prizes for doing the things you love to do!

 Bear Notes
We listen to each and every comment and suggestion you give to us! We have completed upgrading all of the bedding in the Lodge Homes and are looking forward to your feedback. The Cardinal house now has new wood flooring and looks fabulous! And for those of you that asked, we have added clothing hooks in the cottage bedrooms and plan to add more to the bathrooms, too. Our piers have also received a facelift with new seating.
The plans for our new walking path alongside Halberstadt Road are well underway. It will also connect our guests with the new St. Germain bike path slated for completion by the end of June. You can see all the progress on the Bike Trail Facebook page.
