Now is the time when we start gearing up for the summer season -sprucing the grounds, lining up activities and entertainment, spring cleaning and checking everything over.
Spring also brings the start of game fishing season. I was told by a local guide the other day that he considers our lake the second best Muskie lake in the county. That's something considering we have over 1,300 lakes!
A warm welcome to all of you who plan to attend one of the spring weddings we are hosting this year - I am proud to say we are becoming one of the top venues in the Northwoods!

It looks like Spring has finally come to the Northwoods! The sun is shining, snow is melting, and the wildlife is starting to pop out all over the place. We are now offering the lowest rates of the year, plus some great specials with fun things to do. Our Ice Golf Tournament last month was a big hit - the weather was beautiful and everyone had a great time! Photos of the event can be viewed on our Ice Golf Tournament page. We raised $337.00 for our local Food Pantry which in these days is sorely needed. Speaking of golf - we have created a new event for June: Lake & Links golf and fishing tournament. Win cash and prizes for doing the things you love to do! We would also like to introduce another great package for Memorial Day - Camp Grandparents which includes many fun activities for the whole family. We thought in addition to the activities, it would be a great teaching experience for the young ones to include our touching Memorial Day service that is conducted every year by our local military personnel at Veteran's Park in St. Germain in remembrance of those that have given so much for our country.  Bear Notes
We just received new bedding for all of the Lodge Homes and are busy installing it. Other projects in the works are interior painting, new flooring in the Cardinal, and new handrails on the Lodge Home staircases and balconies.
We are also planning a walking path alongside Halberstadt Road for the safety of our guests who like to enjoy a leisurely stroll. Stay tuned for more details!
