Happy Holidays!
The lakes are frozen, snow has been falling for weeks, Christmas decorations are up and we are ready for winter sports and events. We are looking forward to seeing all of you for some great fun in the Winter Sports Capital of the World!

Snowmobile trails will open this Friday at 1:00 PM!
We are looking forward to another great winter in the Northwoods! The area snowmobile clubs including our own Bo-Boens have been working hard to prepare the hundreds of miles of trails for winter use. We are extremely grateful to all of you who support the clubs and donate your valuable time to keep the sport strong. The Black Bear Lodge is a proud sponsor of 5 state snowmobile associations and belongs to 5 local clubs; and proud to boast that our Uncle Carl invented the snowmobile!
Our ice skating rink is almost ready - one or two more coats of water sprayed on it and it should be smooth as glass. The snowshoes, ice skates, and snow sleds have been brought out of storage, and the snowmobile trail to the Bear's Den is complete. Anytime you would like to see a live view of our weather conditions, just click on our live web cam located at the Bear's Den. Speaking of the Bear's Den - be sure to join us for another great New Year's Eve party! Great food, great entertainment, great fun!

New Year's Eve Party! Special dinner menu,
party favors, and hors d'oeuvres at midnight. Entertainment will be provided by award winning DJ Bob Holl. Open at 11AM, serving food until 10PM

NEW! Joe's Famous Broasted Chicken is now available at the Bear's Den. Joe has been making diners happy with his chicken for years, and now has brought it to us here. Make your tummy happy tonight!
Friday is Fish Fry night! Choose from Perch, Walleye, Talapia, or Whitefish prepared a variety of ways.
