Happy New Year! We are looking forward to the continued growth that 2011 will bring us. This past year Pranic Healing of San Diego developed new brochures about its Center and its activities along with an exciting new website managed by our own IT pranic healer Robert Simmons. All the beautiful newsletters that we have been receiving this past year are written and designed by Michelenne Crab, another fabulous healer.
The first peer-reviewed research on Pranic Healing was published this past September in the Journal of ISSSEEM (International Society of the Study of Subtle Energy and Energy Medicine). The research featured another one of our great pranic healers, Alvaro Costa, as he worked on a breast cancer patient. The study identified, tracked and quantified both the amount and the direction of movement of prana as Alvaro applied it during four different healing sessions. The exciting results of this research were presented at the North American Pranic Healing Instructor Retreat in August and at the Canadian Arhatic Yoga Retreat in October.
This past year saw the dedicated assistance of still more of our pranic healing family. Natalya Blaze (from Russia) and Betssy Neff (from Peru) as well as Michelenne, Robert and Alvaro helped at all the Pranic Healing classes with registration, book sales, refreshments and most importantly one-on-one assistance with the students. These classes would not have been successful without their presence.
A new addition is Psy-Tek Laboratory which has been created with the purpose of studying subtle energy. With its array of various bio-technology instruments, it is now actively measuring the effects of Pranic Healing on various clients as well as those who drop in at the free healing clinics. Moreover, it is starting to gather data on what happens to the energy fields of pranic healers before and after healing. Gaetan Chevalier and Tiffany Barsotti staff the lab and both are . . . . guess what? Pranic Healers!!! (among many other things.)
Pranic Healing of San Diego continues to move forward in offering various Pranic Healing courses. Dr. Mary Clark will begin by teaching Pranic Healing Level II (Advanced Pranic Healing) and Level III (Pranic Psychotherapy) at The Healing Arts Center in St. Louis, Missouri on January 21-23. Here in San Diego we look forward to another round of Pranic Healing classes offered in April and May.
Pranic Healing of San Diego is extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the community in 2011 with its offerings of free clinics, classes, private healing sessions, study groups and meditation groups. All of this is possible because of the priceless teachings of Master Choa Kok Sui, founder of Pranic Healing. His wisdom, his clarity and his energy sustains and propels us to new opportunities and expressions of loving service. Please come and join us as we celebrate the coming good fortune of this New Year.
Love and light,
Mary
