Women in Armor

Every Saturday in March we are celebrating the women

who broke with tradition and took up arms.

Elizabeth I, Tudor Queen of England - Boudica, Queen of the ancient Celts

Joan of Arc, heroine of France - Catalina de Erauso, the nun lieutenant

Hear their stories and discover how these women warriors lead armies

to victory at a time when men usually ruled the battlefield.

See our calendar for a full schedule of programs.
