2011 is off to a Solid Start While the economy as a whole is far from brisk,we've seen several positive signs for our local economy in 2011: the job market is showing signs of improvement, new business openings, ribbon cuttings, and brisk counseling activity with the Small Business Development Center office at the SR Chamber. The Chamber is here to keep the momentum building for your business and your community.
The Chamber is active on social media. Be part of our following for frequent business and local updates. Help us build up to 400 "likes"!
Congratulations and Thank You to the Chamber's 2011 Leaders Circle sponsors. Leaders Circle Members play a vital role in the Chamber's ability to protect business interests in our community. To see this year's Leaders Circle sponsors (up through today, more are coming in), browse the column to the left. You can still take part in this exclusive group. Here's how. Both online and in print, the Chamber's Business Directory gets your business noticed. There's still limited time to sign up for a special listing in the 2011-2012 Official Chamber Directory. The Chamber is looking out for you. The Chamber is working every day to promote and connect your business. At the same time, we are working every day to represent the interests of business to government -- all without you having to get involved. Visit the SRChamber.com 'advocacy' page for more.
A final point: the opportunity to honor a Chamber business for its service to the community has been extended. Nominate a large or small business for Business of the Year by noon on March 11. It will only take you a few minutes and your nominee will thank you for it. Please send all nomination forms to Taletha at Frontdesk@srchamber.com.
As always, we thank you for your continued support of the San Rafael Chamber. Your membership investment helps the Chamber help your business and your community.
