We just recently got some feedback from a consumer on a client mapping site stating that he wanted an easy way to find out what states the retailer was in.
"Your web site doesn't give much information and is not user friendly. It did not say that most of your locations are in other parts of the U.S., I had to figure this out for myself. I think your site needs some work."

Roy's Restaurant Example
Roy's Restaurant has a great example of allowing consumers to search by state. This allows consumers to easily see which states have Roy's Restaurants.
In addition to the contact information, Roy's locator shows more information including Chef Partner, Managing Partner and Hours of Operation, as well as Dinner Menu, Online Reservations and Driving Directions.
Roy's locator even provides a way for consumers to send the Address and Driving Directions to an e-mail address or mobile device. |
