How retailers can allow consumers to reserve products locally from a manufacturers website

Reserve Locally is a fast and easy way for shoppers to reserve or purchase products for in-store pick up at their nearest local retailer - directly through a manufacturer's website. A consumer may research a product on a manufacturer's site and use the store locator to find where it may be purchased locally. However, once the consumer leaves the store locator, there's no good way to track conversion. Questions like: Did the customer go to the store and purchase the product? Did they purchase another product in the store? What store did they choose? Did they abandon the store locator entirely and not purchase anything, much like an abandoned on-line shopping cart?
