After a 2 year absence from the market, the MetalAce 28F Imperial English Wheel is back! It is constructed of cast iron, and features a generous 28" throat. This machine works for body panels, motorcycle fenders, aircraft parts and more! The toughest small-frame English Wheel that money can buy, the Imperial 28F provides ample working room for any contour, any job. With our large line-up of shaping wheels, you can even add the finest detail with finesse.
Our latest design allows for the use of the standard 3" wide upper wheel & anvils, with optional 2" wide upper wheel and anvils for smaller jobs or details. The rigid cast iron frame provides a very sturdy, vibration free platform for all of your metal shaping jobs. The screw lift assembly features a quick-release cam that lowers the anvil yoke to change anvil, or remove the work piece. When the handle is rotated back to the operational setting, the original pressure setting is maintained. The lower yoke is also adjustable on both sides of the axle to true the lower anvil to the upper wheel.
