Over the last three months, Panasonic has refreshed several of their most popular Toughbook models and also introduced a brand new model.
As someone who is interested in rugged mobile computers, Group Mobile felt it important and beneficial to make you aware of these significant changes and enhancements.

Refresh - Toughbook 19 |
The highly popular Toughbook 19 is Panasonic's convertible
tablet computer. Convertible means the computer can operate as a tablet pc with
touchscreen or as a laptop with a full keyboard. The Toughbook 19 is a
fully-rugged machine intended for use in vehicles or in outdoor environments.
Panasonic recently refreshed the Toughbook 19 with Intel's
latest Core 2 Duo processor, a larger hard disk drive, 2GB RAM standard, an
optional dual mode (finger touch and digitizer stylus) display, an optional
integrated camera, and extended battery life of 9-10 hours.

Refresh - Toughbook 30
|

The Toughbook 30 is the flagship of the Toughbook line. The
"30" is the successor to the original Toughbook 25 which then evolved to the
Toughbook 27, Toughbook 28 and then the Toughbook 29. The Toughbook 30 is a
fully-rugged, 13.3" display laptop/notebook designed for use in a vehicle or in
outdoor environments.
The "30" was recently refreshed to include Intel's latest
Core 2 Duo processor, a larger hard disk drive, 2GB RAM standard, an optional
touchscreen with 1000 NIT display (sunlight-viewable), and extended battery
life of 7 hours. Learn More

Refresh - Toughbook 52
|
The Toughbook 52 is Panasonic's full featured yet cost
effective semi-rugged laptop computer. The Toughbook 52 comes in 2 different
models. The "under $2,000" model has a 2.26GHz processor and a WXGA resolution
display. The higher-end model has a 2.4GHz processor, a WUXGA resolution
display, 512MB dedicated VRAM for improved video performance, and Bluetooth as
standard.
The refresh of the Toughbook 52 increased the RAM memory to
2GB standard and included a larger hard disk drive. The other significant
enhancement to the "52" is the new optional 13.3" touchscreen display with 1000
NIT brightness. This means that the Toughbook 52 can now be effectively used
outdoors. However, the laptop remains semi-rugged so it is not sealed against
rain, dust or other outdoor environmental conditions.

a jewel. The new Toughbook F8 has a magnesium case, a shock-mounted hard disk

possibly the best looking, most gorgeous Toughbook ever made. Everyone who sees
it remarks that it sure is a sleek and beautiful computer.
The F8 has a large 14.1" widescreen display but weighs only
3.7lbs. It includes Intel's latest Core 2 Duo processor and comes standard with
