Ever wonder why you are catching nothing and the boat next to you is catching everything? Argh!

Find out at the Islamorada LLGF Seminar Nov. 11-13! The best charter captains in the area will be sharing their fishing strategies and techniques. Nowhere else can you get one-on-one time with the experts that know where the fish are and how to catch them! Includes two parties!

Get it all in one weekend instead of taking years to learn!

Some requests from the ladies and some notes... email us if you are intereted! You asked, we listened!

* One lady wants to share a hotel room

* We need 2 more couples to fill an offshore sportfishing 'mixed-couples male-female' boat.

* One lady wants to go flyfishing for the inshore trip, need a second lady who wants to go flyfishing.

* Male/female teams are ok for inshore fishing but we don't mix them with the ladies. Exception is a couple who has another person for a boat for 3, that's doable.

* For the mixed couples fishing the lady needs to be registered for the seminar. Look below for fishing rates on Sunday.

* Is there interest in fishing for guests on Saturday?

* We now accept registrations for gals 16 years old and up when accompanied with a female adult who has registered for the seminar.

* We have a 2-night hotel stay at Treasure Cay, Abaco, Bahamas and a half day sportfishing trip on the Hattatude, Ft. Lauderdale up for grabs.

* Some have expressed interest in a way to network with fishing gals in your area. Email us if you want to do this, the program has been improved to make it EZ for you!

Fishing Fun and Making
New Friends at the Seminar

It all starts Friday at 6:30 p.m. with a Networking Happy Hour at Holiday Isle, featuring exciting fundraisers and an opportunity to make new friends and mingle with your classmates.

Saturday morning classes begin at 8 a.m. with beginner, intermediate/advanced sessions on where to find the fish and how to catch them. After lunch there are "Skill Stations" for casting, gaffing grapefruits, fly casting, knot tying, boat maneuvering, net casting, trailer backing, landing and releasing & more, including reeling against a heavy fish!

Ever gaff a grapfruit! Great practice for the reel thing!

On Sunday morning, put your new skills to work with an optional fishing trip adventure (for an additional cost) on a group boat, offshore or inshore boat. We'll provide what you need. In the afternoon, join us for a fish filleting demonstration and practice with the fish you've caught!

Anyone from 16 to 108 is welcome aboard, however reservations are limited. Don't miss out on this memorable experience! Join the ranks of more than 6,000 lady graduates!

Fishing Rates, per person:

$55 - Group/Party Boat (Fish for Kingfish, Dolphin, Snapper and more).4 hour trip.

$180 - Offshore/Sportfishing Boat, 6 Anglers per boat (Fish for Sailfish, Kingfish, Wahoo, Dolphin and more). 3/4 day.

$250 - Inshore/flats Boat, approx. 2-4 Anglers per boat. It's more because there usually are only two on the boat and one captain, for fantastic hands-on learning and practice. See the wonders of shallow water fishing in Islamorada, known for tarpon, bonefish, snook, mangrove snapper and see beautiful birds, maybe a manatee! 3/4 day. Male guests - While boats are reserved for women, certain boats will be designated "couples" boats. We need 2 more couples to fill an offshore sportfishing couples boat. You can bring males on the party boat and it's also ok for the inshore boats.

We'll be on the Florida Insider Fishing Report for a brief segment, two shows tonight, a show on Friday and a show on Saturday, Sept. 1-3. On Sun Sports Network with Capt. Rick Murphy. It's Comcast Channel 38 in Ft. Lauderdale but might be different in your area. The show tells where the fishing is hot in Florida! It will be brief but will help more people know about the opportunity to learn fishing in the Keys in November!! Check it out, you might be in it!
