I'd like to once again welcome all our new members that have been joining us over the past week. It brings me great joy to welcome all of you to our growing community of friends and prayer warriors. Our membership has been increasing by dozens every week and it's due in part to the comments spread by our current members. Thank you all and God Bless.

The Power Of Faith By : Frank Broom

Faith has awesome power. Faith has the power to shape your words, thoughts, and actions. Faith has the power to remove things out of your life and bring things into your life. By faith you receive from God. Before you receive from God you first have to have faith that it is so before you see it so. God requires you to believe before you see.

For instance the Bible says "By whose stripes ye were healed."
You have to believe that before you see that. Like the 10 lepers in Luke 17, Jesus told them to show themselves unto the priest. You only showed yourself to the priest for him to pronounce you as cleansed. So, Jesus was calling them clean, but they didn't see healing. But notice they went anyway. They had more faith in what Jesus spoke than the sickness that they could see. But notice they had to believe it was so before they saw it so.

And faith when released out of the mouth is creative. The world and the heaven was created by faith (Hebrews 11:3). And faith will still continue to produce in this physical world. Jesus said have faith in God(or in the Greek-Have the faith of God) and then explained the faith of God (Mark 11:22,23). Well the faith of God is developed by hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17). So you have access to the very faith of God. And just as faith created this physical world it will create your world. And we see even from the beginning of time the physical world cannot stop the faith of God from producing.

And faith brings from the spiritual into the physical. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). These unseen things are in the spirit realm. And faith gives substance to them in this physical realm. Faith is a spiritual substance that produces physical results.

I became a Christian in 1982. After having a few rebellious teenage years, I married my "Prince Charming." A year after we were married, 2 men came witnessing to our door, and led us to Christ on the spot. My life changed immediately; Toms got worse. He became very abusive, in all areas. The physical blows weren't as bad as the emotional ones. We had two beautiful daughters, and that was reason to stay with him. Also, I had no self worth left; he took it all away.

When my youngest daughter was 11, she began losing weight. Then began cutting.

This led to severe anorexia/bulimia, and several suicide attempts. She was helped through a Christian treatment program, and they moved her to another province, to keep her away from her dad. She finally revealed that he had been sexually abusing her since she was 2. Christina ended up moving back home with me, and started life over. I believe one day her dad saw her and threatened her. She took her life 5 yrs ago, at age 21.

Last August, Tom (husband) put a bullet through his head. The Lord has used me mightily in the last few years. He has given me the strength to go on, and to minister to women and teens. I have also been studying online, and have just completed my Bachelor of Ministry degree with Covenant Theological Seminary. I'm now working on my Masters in Christian Counseling. I had to tell you all this so you can know that God takes what we have been
through, and uses it for His good. This November, I will be going to India for 3 weeks, to minister to women that have come out of prostitution and sex trafficking! God is amazing!
Weekly Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus, like the disciples we forget Who You are, Your power and might over all things, and also the greatness of Your love for us. We are often gripped by fear and worry over our many pressing concerns. Help us to grow in faith and to overcome our fearfulness. Restore peace and calm to our hearts by Your powerful Word. Amen.
