Message From Richard
Greetings my brothers and sisters and welcome to our latest edition of Gods Faith Book's weekly newsletter. I'd like to once again welcome all our new members that have been joining us over the past week. It brings me great joy to welcome all of you to our growing community of friends and prayer warriors.
As I mentioned in one of my last newsletters, we have been busy over the past several weeks with a major upgrade. Part of this upgrade included upgrading our prayer center. You can now print out your prayers and forward prayers to others. Part of the prayer center which has always been there is the ability to sign up for an email announcement whenever a new prayer is posted. You can also go to the devotional section of prayer center and read devotions that are posted daily and weekly. We have also taken down our gift store for some major changes and upgrades including adding additional new and exciting products including books and music which was not available before. Watch for further news about our new and improved store.
Our major change will be in the actual look of the site. Keep watching the home page for our new and exciting look. And please remember, your feedback is very important to us. Remember, that this site does not belong to one person, it belongs to all of you. Without YOU, there is no US. Always Dare To Dream.
A Prayer For My Friends
Lord, I ask You to bless my friends who are reading this right now.
Where there is pain, may they find peace and mercy.
Where there is self-doubt, may they gain a renewed confidence.
Where there is weariness or exhaustion, give them understanding, patience, and strength.
Where there is fear, reveal your love, and offer to them your courage.
Give them greater vision, bless their finances, and raise up leaders and friends to support and encourage them.
May their spirit always be joyous and their days rich and full with love and happiness,
And may they always know that they have a friend.
Amen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How to Start Your Day with God by Frank King
For most of us, this is one crazy world. So many things vie for our limited time in each day. But let's face it; as for many of the daily activities we feel we just have to get done, the world won't stop turning if we don't get them done. The key to surviving and striving in this chaotic society is to make sure that we know what matters most, and to place them as priorities for our day. If you are a Christian, I submit that the most important thing for you to do each day is to start your day with God. In chapter 10 of the Book of Luke, the Bible talks about a time when Jesus visited the house of a woman named Martha. While He was there, she was busily working around the house. But her sister Mary, the Bible says, "sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word" (Luke 10:39). This aggravated Martha, so she complained to the Lord and asked Him to order Mary to help her. But this is how Jesus responded: "Martha, Martha, you are careful and troubled about many things: But one things is needful: and Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her" (verses 41, 42). Wow! This is such a powerful statement by our Lord. Perhaps some of Martha's busyness was aimed at being a good host to the Lord Himself. But He says that what her sister had chosen to dosit at His feet and hear His Wordwas the one thing that really needed to be done. So how do we "sit at His feet and hear His Word" in our home? By praying and attentively studying the Bible. I am convinced that out of all the things we have on our calendar each day, what matters most is that we make our time with the Lord our priority. You see, when we start our day with God, we invite Him to be an active part of our day. Through prayer, we can fight and win some battles before they even manifest themselves. Through the Word of God, He speaks to us to embolden our faith and to enlighten us with truth. Now I can imagine some of you saying in your heart that you are just too busy to do what I am suggesting. But, remember, we have already established that we must set priorities in our life. And I am telling you that what matters most in your life is that you make it a priority to start your day with God. I promise you that when you learn how to make God first in your life, you will have a much more victorious and fulfilling Christian life. Copyright 2012 by Frank King. All rights reserved. Member Profile - Mark Howard
I was born in Cudahy, Wisconsin to my parents, Mark Charles Howard and Vivian Lee Howard. My family, including my brother, Chuck Howard, moved from Wisconsin to California in 1966. We have lived in various cities throughout Southern California; mostly in Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa and Santa Ana. My sister, Linda Howard, was born in Anaheim, California.
My childhood is full of many good memories. My dad and I were very close. He worked at an auto body shop in Garden Grove, and eventually started his own shop in Huntington Beach; however, his true passion in life was flying, so he became a flight instructor. I recall going flying when I was about eight years old. It was a beautiful day; partly cloudy skies, and I asked my dad if we could go flying. It was a school day, and he said, "Lets do it." So we went flying, and it was such a thrill to be up there in the airplane with my dad. He even let me fly it. My mom was a great homemaker. I can remember her cooking some really tasty meals and keeping the house clean and in order. My parents were divorced when I was eleven years old due to my dad's drinking problem and mental problems. He spent a lot of time in mental hospitals and jail. Click here to read further...

Weekly Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for providing us with simple and crystal clear instruction regarding the blessings of Your ministry and the Father's great loving will for all people. Thank You for providing all of this in writing - so that we have a sure, clear, and simple guide, rule, norm, and authority as we do Your will. Thank You for thus enabling us to identify and avoid the plots of the evil one who corrupts Your Word, rejects Your blessings, and challenges Your mission with his counterfeits. Bless us always to be on Your mission. Amen.
