Greetings my brothers and sisters and welcome to our latest edition of Gods Faith Book's weekly newsletter. I'd like to once again welcome all our new members that have been joining us over the past week. It brings me great joy to welcome all of you to our growing community of friends and prayer warriors.
Many of our members have been questioning how to set up their blogs into the GFB system.
If you have a blog site which you post to and has a feed, we can set it up to automatically post to the GFB activity stream. All you have to do is send us your blog site and we'll take it from there.
If you don't, the best way to do this is to set up your own group and then post into your group. Once this is done, the blog group will automatically post to the home page for all members to view as well as the members of your group.
Also , while many of our members have been displeased with Face Book and have quit their FB membership and joined with us here on GFB, we still have many members that have kept a duel membership on both sites. If you still have a membership on FB, please check out GodsFaithBook and like us on FB. And don't forget to let your friends on FB know that there is an alternative to FB, which is right here on GFB. DON'T KEEP GODS FAITH BOOK A SECRET, SPREAD THE WORD.
Remember, that this site does not belong to one person, it belongs to all of you. Without YOU, there is no US. Always Dare To Dream.

The Pearls Behind my Tears

Sometimes I sit and watch, like a little girl watching rain through her window wondering how a bright and sunny day got so dark and stormy, I sit and stare at the drops prefusely racing out of the heavens. The window I stare into is my mirror, reflecting not rain outside my window but tears that prefusely race down my cheeks, all strung out racing down my cheeks , wondering how it got so dark, wondering how the promise could bring so much pain.
When it was bright and sunny friends were plenty, now that it's dark and stormy, I stand alone dejected castout from my own, they that danced with me when the sun was out are now they that churn the drum that contains my tears.
I look to the heavens and I cry out, I say my Lord, My God, why should seasons change, why should the sun disappear and rain, hailstorms and floods plague that which was once a sunny day? Then I hear so loud and clear, "look at the horizon", I look up and begin to see, the storm drawing to a close, a beautiful rainbow painted across the once stormy sky, I see the trees dancing and shaking their beautiful peatals, testifying of the life the rain has brought, testifying of the strength of their roots; the storm could not bring them down!
I see little shrubs that where burried deep in the soil begin to push through after the storm has broken the ground they once couldnot penetrate. I walk down to the sea where the storm seems to have raged the hardest but where I find the greatest treasure, lying bare, cracked from its shell I see a precious pearl, born out of the most excruciating pain, cracked by the storm, yet more valuable and precious than anything around it.
That is the product of my tears. Every tear dropped from the excruciating pain of my heart slowly wounds itself into a pearl, released by every storm into an amazingly beautiful neck piece, that adorns my being aand embodies me with a grace, an assurance of someone greater in charge of my seasons! A boldness that screams out, no matter what comes my way; my roots have been tested and weathered the storm, proven to be authentic! As i sit and reflect at the reflection of this young woman, I boldly declare the storm was so worth it.

Bible Study Classes and Prayer Meeting
Bible Study is held in the AV Chat Room each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Each Saturday we also have a Video prayer and worship session. Classes begin promptly at 8:00 PM EST.
The GFB Prayer Meeting is held each Wednesday at approximately 9:00 PM EST in the AV Chat room.
